I have been a huge fan of the Halo series and I have loved it ever since Halo 2 started online.

After obtaining Halo 3, I was blown away from all the details and entertainment you get online. It was fun and all until I came upon Call of Duty 4 online. Compared to Halo 3, CoD4 is ultra realistic, fast paced, and much more fun.

In Halo 3, you just simply run... jump... and shoot.

Also, After playing long hours of CoD4, I decided to play Halo 3 and I was shocked to notice how slow paced the graphics were compared to CoD4.

In short, Halo 3 should have done better.

Yeah, um.. If you've honestly played the Halo games, you'd realize that they aren't trying to be uber tactical. Halo has a type of gameplay that can be a disaster if you don't make the game right, but can be very fun if you do. And Bungie hasn't really failed with it yet. COD is more of a tactical game, where Halo's energy shields and movement makes it more of a run and gun kind of game.

You explained that really well. In a way, it proves that neither is better, it just depends on what kind of games you play, and how serious you are about games. But I do believe that Bungie should have done better with Halo 3. Controls are meh- COD 4 controls much better, but Microsoft is to blame for that. They made such a bad original Xbox controller, so if Bungie changed the controls too much, fans of the Halo series would have been lost and confused. The graphics, well, COD 4 is amazing, considering camoflauge (I forgot how to spell...) actually works, and the framerate never drops below 60. Bungie should have given in to Epic Games and used Unreal Engine 3. Halo 3 also has very basic gaming, considering death means losing a good weapon at the most. In Call of Duty 4, your death could mean the other team calling in a helicopter or airstrike. Maybe Halo 3 would have been better if Microsoft could have restrained themselves from getting money ASAP, Bungie would have been able to make Halo 3 everything we all wanted it to be. Halo 3's best feature is the multiplayer. It is fun if you're not too competitive, and Bungie is really dedicated to the multiplayer, constantly adding new playlists and tweaking them. Sadly, whatever they do with the multiplayer may never make it be able to compete with the masterpiece that is Call of Duty 4. COD 4 doesn't have multiplayer Achievements for a reason.

I found COd 4 Ehh the online play was sub par far to easy to rank up within 3 hours I was like Sargent...again way to easy to rank up. In halo 3 it took 10 weeks just to get to major. I don't see why ever one need to compare halo 3 to COD4 makes no sense.
