Okay, with comic con coming up with more and more disappointments for halo fans, does anyone think halo has gone too far?
*NOTE* This is my own biased opinion based on what facts I know.
#1 Halo the movie has been completely canceled, Neil Blokamp and Peter Jackson have moved on.
#2 Alongside the movie cancellation, we learn that Halo Chronicles was canceled THREE YEARS AGO. Would've been nice to know back then.
#3 Halo Legends - Anime crapola invades Halo with the launch of 343 studios. (For all anime fans, this is my own, biased opinion)
#4 343 studios - made by microsoft, meaning mass market consumption, tarnishing halo's reputation.
#5 Rumours that ODST and Reach may well be Bungie's last forays into the Haloverse. This would be fine, if they hadn't said that it doesn't mean halo is dead as well. The big problem is, that without Bungie, Microsoft can still churn out as much Halo stuff as they want, thanks to 343 studios.
All in all, this comic con seems to have proven that Halo is going too far, Microsoft wants to milk the franchise for all its got, and then the series will go down the sellout lane just as star wars did.

Yup

Halo Chronicles was going to be an Interactive Halo Game/ Movie experience made by Peter Jackson and Wingnut games studios
Even with Halo Reach being Bungie's last game, Microsoft is still going to milk this franchise for all it is worth. And they probably won't stop, until Halo loses its relevance in the gaming scene.
I agree with you 100%, but it basically happens to everything these days.
That's true, but Halo was the one I thought I'd never see. I never thought that stupid anime would ever have anything to do with our Halo. I never thought the main Bungie studios would just dump off the dedicated fans of the IP like that. I really hope 343 can pump out some great games, but it seems as if the money train will make sure that doesn't happen. At least, that's what usually happens.
*sigh* The only thing that could redeem this is Halo 4, and that's not gonna happen. Let this be a lesson to us all: there's nothing here anymore. Forget Global Warming, give NASA your money instead.
I'm sorry to inform you, but at least one of the halo 'anime' things looked okay to me.
Also when I read reach and ODST were the last bungie games, the article instantly noted that they were the last halo games for the xbox 360. That imply whatever the next console is may have the halo games, it can be taken several ways.
SUE FOR THE RIGHTS!!!!!!! lol
I would love to see the Halo rights passed along to bioware..... It will never happen but I think Bioware makes the best games on the market. I've never played a game from them that didn't impress me.
