Anyone think Halo 3 will have a map editor like Far Cry? I really don't see why Bungie woulden't put something like that in...:uhm: I actually think Far Cry is more fun than Halo because you have almost unlimited possibillities with maps.
In a press release, Bungie said that H2V would be more modable than Halo, and they would put it on a different framework. They said in the FAQ section: "Q Does Halo 2 Vista support user-created content? A Yes, there will be a comprehensive package released to facilitate the generation of user-created content for Halo 2 Vista" Bungie's FAQ
"7. Custom Multiplayer Content (as if UltimateDragon needed any other reason to buy the game) We've all seen the countless great things accomplished for use with Halo CE, released after Halo PC. Now imagine something that's ready to use right out of the box, fully facilitated by Bungie. Many people (cough, UD) have already honed their skills with creating new content such as maps and mods. Now they will be able to apply these talents at the next level, creating some amazing possibilities for the future of the Halo universe on the PC." 7 reasons why H2v rocks out loud So yes. Probably. And I believe there is a guy that is working on a H2VCE. Correct me if i'm wrong...
Well when Halo 2 comes out for PC, u can make anything u want pretty easily
He is talking about Halo 3 not Halo 2;)
I doubt it. Bungie does not have the time to put something in like that. I would rather play a set number of good maps, then an infinite number of crappy maps. It would be awsome to see the orginal halo maps redone in the Halo 3 engine with the orginal weapons.
But with those minor differences, like Blood Gulch to Coagulation, Longest to Elongation, and Battle Creek to Beaver Creek.... it is the subtle but good differences that I like... although the Coagulation to Valhalla might be big changes but it fixes the "Snipers Reign" problem... and as for Zanzibar to High Ground.... big difference in looks but still looks fun....
I agree with Pet. People would put secrets in maps only they would know about, and use it to their Advantage.
