Okay, here's what you do:

Right-click the Halo shortcut on your desktop (doing this to the halo.exe icon itself will NOT work). Then, click "Properties" at the very bottom of the menu that comes up. In the middle tab, "Shortcut", go to the line where it says "Target:". No matter where Halo is installed, the target line should end in "...halo.exe". Now, to enable the console, you would add -console to the end of that, out of the quotes, so it would look like "...halo.exe" -console. Be careful, there is a space between the quote mark and the dash.

Next time you're in Halo, whether it's the menu or in-game, you can open the console by pressing the ~ key, next to 1. You can then use the commands to kick, ban, or do whatever you like.

Another thing, though. Why are you on version 1.02? The current one is 1.07. If you click here, there is a link to the 1.07 patch. Just download and run the file, and you're set.

Thank you so much for the info.I shouldnt have any problems adding "-console" to the .exe.. As far as the ver. 1.2 it because the game allows anyone to join so the server stays full 24/7..its crasy i know vut when i was running a 1.07 ver i could not keep it full. Now it stays full just about every min its up :)

That's very interesting. How odd that an outdated version of Halo is more full than the current one...my theory is that more people like to keep the older version so it doesn't have all the anti-modding updates that are in the newer ones.
