What do you mean by bot? AI bot? Aimbot? Because if it is aimbot: get the fuck off.
Yeah, aimbotting is very much looked down on.
Halofiles is crawling with those... Someone just submitted a mod with AI bots in it just a week or so ago. Check it out ^_^
Ah, multiplayer AI bots are a different story... but they lag extensively.
Not too bad performance wise really. Just don't make it an internet game, as some idiot will join and create an uberlagspikeofdoom for a minute or so until he gets kicked. :)

Who would do internet play? Unsynced bots are unsynced...
Well the bots in MP maps generaly have horrid AI so they arnt much fun on LAN...
