What do you think of it? I know some people who didn't like it at all, being set at a different time. But what about the story?

I liked it but that innapropriate scene at the end wasn't needed. If it was soo important it should have been in the middle of the book somewhere. maybe he was just trying to come up with a way to end the book. i thought it was nice how they talked about tartaros. and characters like sgt. johnson were in there too. Then there was private wallace jenkins wich most should know later meets a gruesome and cruel fate at the hands of the flood. All in all i really liked it. Even though there were no spartans it was really good.

I agree with the ending! And I appreciated the opportunity to learn more about Johnson and Jenkins. Actually, learning more about Jenkins made me feel even worse due to how he ended.

I thought how it was also interesting how the prophet of truth knew all along who the forerunners were even before he became a prophet. it proves how corrupt he was.
