Just wondering about your opinions on what would make halo better. I think that there should be controlls for changing firing modes (semi-auto, full auto, grenade launcher, ect.) and controlls for attatching silencers to weapons. By the way, who missed me? =p
I missed you :nodding: I don't know what would make Halo better...I don't like the idea of silencers, I love the sounds of weapons. Switching between full auto and semi-auto would be good but it would render battle rifle in Halo 2 useless. Less bouncy frags would be great. SMG would also be on my wishlist.
I'm flattered :). I agree that the frag grenades seem to be made out of rubber and then again a semi-auto firing mode on the battle rifle would completely remove the need for the carbine, which is my favorite weapon, of course.
I've never used grenade launcher in any game before so I don't know what it would be like in Halo. From what I know, real grenade launchers are great, but Brute shot in Halo 2 seems to take the function already so I don't know what good it would do creating a human variant of the weapon.
I've used a grenade launcher in mods. But Halo seems more of a 'true video game' if you get my drift. Everything is balanced out.
Except in Halo 1 where you can shoot someone at long range with a shotgun. Handy, though!
Well that was a more realistic shotgun, Bungie decreased it's range in later games for balance.
Shotgun is supposed to be a short-range weapon, in reality you could never make such accurate shots at such range as you can in Halo 1. But I got so used to that, that now I can't get used to shotgun in Halo 2.
Well how then do exhibition shooters nail clay targets out of the sky with shotguns?
That's not that far. In Halo 1, I could hit a Grunt on the other side of a canyon.
