hi... these are, yet again, silly questions... how do you make a horn on a warthog...? and how do you create new sound files for the horns or other effects...? thank you for dealing with my incompetence, it's just that i don't fully understand the tutorials i've seen.

I wouldn't know how to make the horn on the Hog, but if you want new sounds, you need to either record or take a pre-built sound file, and convert it to a .wav format.

Wav? I doubt it... Anyway, then, u gotta run tool in MS-DOS command prompt to make it a Halo format. I think it was tool sounds or something but I dont really know.

I'm sure Halo PC uses Wav for effects and OGG for music, surely that would stay in CE?

I don't think it was wav for effects. It was still OGG.

Necrophear, I know it's possible, some people create vehicles that have horn as their "crouch"; you should hunt down the creator of one of those maps. Oh and Supersonic, I've found that some SFX are .ogg, some are .wav, and all music is .ogg. However it dislikes my .wav files, saying they don't have some certification of authenticity or other.

CE has to have sounds converted into sound tags by tool. However for simplicity's sake, you could just use this. It does that all for you, as making sounds for CE in tool does have its problems.
