An unofficial mod has been released, but don't bother, it sucks big hairy balls. Basically, it gives the Ghost the guns of a Shade turret, gives 2x magnification to every single gun (why oh why does a flamethrower need a scope?) and gives you damage from impacts in vehicles. Nothing special.
The official mod has not been released yet. Keep yourself busy with Zanzibar, Engine Room, GZ_H2, or better yet- the actual Halo 2!

Look through halomods.com, haloimpulse.com, halomaps.org (this one's got slow d/l rate), you can find them all there, and you can find the real Halo 2 at your local games retailer.
