Please Help: I try to structure the level and this is what it gives me.

Check your materials. Either something's out of order, or not textured.

What are you trying to do exactly? Just get a level structure?

Gamma is right. It is a texture issue. Do you know to access and manipulate the material ids? (very simple process actually my friend) And if the answer is no, provide us with your modeling application and we will help walk you through it/ provide the appropriate tutorial.

I am using 3ds max. Thanks for your support! I am new to the map making process. I have a .jms file and i would like to know where to go from there.

No i do not know how to manipulate material id's.

Here is a site that deals with materials in 3ds max in general. 3ds Max Tutorial | Multi/Sub-Object materials | CADTutor You should be able to learn enough from it to fix the material issue. And if you have any more questions, let us know.
