I know this is probably really easy and obvious, but I just cannot work it out! I need to make the projectile of the Plasma Rifle's bolt red, just if you're wondering. I think it might have something to do with shaders...

You have to recolor the bitmap and the related particle colors.
Oh great, I was hoping you wern't going to say that because I can't find the bitmap for the projectile.:uhoh: I can find the contrails, but not the projectiles.
NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP YOUR FILES. IF YOU ARE WONDERING, JUST READ BELOW ON HOW TO SAVE, AND THEN INSTEAD OF CHANGING IT, SAVE IT TO A SEPARATE FOLDER. Use HMT, load up the map, look for bitmap, and look for the image. I found some images related to the plasma bolt under energy, so check there. There are multiple, so this may take a while. Save the image, and change it to a Jpeg or something editable in Mpaint (if ur gonna use that ofcourse) using DXTbmp. Try google if u need it, should be rite there. To change it, just save it over below where you enter the name, it should say type, and scroll for jpeg or whatever. If u have a editing programing that can opening DXTs, ignore what I said about changing it in DXTbmp. Change it in the editing program. Save it, and then change it back to DXT if u did change it. Then, load up HMT, and inject back into it. Click yes if it says to resize or sumthing, cuz I think that always happens ( to me atleast ). Then repeat the same thing for the other related ones. I think that partially does it. I have looked around in HMT a lot, and what I noticed is that a lot of the buttons are near useless (ex tint and color in shaders and whatnot. Doesn't even do anything! ) Maybe I'm just not doing it right, but changing numbers doesn't seem too hard. GL with trying to get that work, and not in a sarcastic way.
