Well, I was wondering how precisely can you film yourself withen Halo? Can you film a video by yourself, or do you require another person to film you? Second, what sort of ingame filming programs do you recommend for filming withen Halo? And finally, how do you "put your weapon" down withen Halo?

Actually, that's a trial version that only records 30 seconds at a time. I have a much older version that doesn't have as many options, but lets you record as long as you want:

You can't put your weapons down in Halo, but you can use a devcam program. Unfortunately, with that, you can't film yourself doing anything but standing still, so you'll either have to film someone else, or have someone else film you.

That's the camera program.

I meant as putting your weapon withen a "downward" position where the weapon faces the ground and not a target, I have seen this withen videos filmed by individuals who play Halo. It's not holstering your weapon where it is not viewable, it's simply lowering your weapon.

Oh, that. You simply look all the way down at the ground. For some reason, from an outside viewpoint, it looks like the weapon goes all the way down but the helmet comes back up, even though you're actually looking straight down. From your own perspective, it looks like you're staring at the floor, so it's hard to know where you're going when you do that.

After you install it, you open the program, then (ensuring the box labled 'enable video capture hotkey' is enabled) open your game. When you want to start recording press F9, when you want to finish press F9, and your done. The video will turn up in the fraps directory (most commenly C:\Fraps)

While you're in the game, the frames-per-second counter in the corner should turn red while the video is recording. The game may lag considerably while recording, but it's not too bad usually. On the video recording, the FPS counter isn't there.
