title explains it, whenever i load bloodgulch.map into halo map tools v3.5 it says "error" "file not found"
Is your Bloodgulch in your "maps" directory or have you moved it to a separate location? It needs to be in the "maps" folder to work properly. Also, is this for normal Halo PC or Halo trial?
its for halo trial. i used HMT before but i just got a new laptop, and i've been having problems with all the halo modding tools with it. but, i tried the map in the "maps" folder but it wouldn't work, so i copyed the map and moved the copy to my desktop and it did the same thing, then i downloaded the original bloodgulch.zip from filefront, because maybe i just got a bad map, but it still won't work, it always says "file not found"
1) Do you have Microsoft .NetFramework? HMT needs it to run. 2)Try re-downloading HMT 3)Make sure you include any and ALL other files besides just the program. HMT needs these to run.
i think i do have microsoft.net framework, ill check tho. ill try it agian
HMT won't even load if u don't have .NetFramework so it couldn't be that
well then i dont have a clue, i did download the newest version of framework, but it still didnt work, its wierd, HMT will work on my desktop, but not on my laptop, i even transferd the HMT and halo trial from my desktop to my laptop, and it still wont work
if ur new computer is vista, hmt works better if it is ran as admin. also i never got hmt to work on halo trial.
.NET Framework 1.1 is required to run HMT v3.5, not just an up-to-date version.
Also, make sure that the map is not heavily modified, that way, it won't give you exceptions.
And no, you can open a map file without it being in the maps folder. I do it all the time.
