I have an idea for a map & vehicle mod, Mario Kart 64. Remember that one multiplayer course with the block towers? well i was thinking that it would be sweet to play on as a halo map, and since there is a red tower and a blue tower, why not make those the bases for team games? and for invisible pickup, a ghost. for extra armour pickup, how about a superstar than makes you invisible for a short period of time? For vehicles i was thinking karts, obviously. For bombs you could convert them to bomb-ombs.
Now Im not exactly sure how i would go along making this, but i play on the hyrulefield map alot, and it looks like they just took a ROM and dumped the area, so maybe that would work for this also.

If that's all you're planning on doing with it, it sounds possible. Maybe a little time consuming, and I don't know how many people would play it, but possible.

Hey Guilty, is your main concern with Halo the engine? It just seems that everywhere I post you're going on about the engine. Not that I disagree with you. And back to the Mario mod. I'm not a big fan of game conversions, but if you could pull it off it'd be good.
all i have to say is that there should be a public beta, then we would continue this chat in awhile to see if it was popular enough to finish it.
