I am trying to make a pre-halo styled map for, and i need the following for it:):
I need the megabuster weapon tag featured in s-m-e beta 10 and a good civilian biped character tag, sorta like a present day civilian, except with a little bit of a futuristic touch, and i also need a civilian bike-like vehicle tag
thx in advance :D

You want a civilian... and a civilian bike.... You realize these would probably have to be made from scratch right?
well, unless you can find a tag on halomaps like that, yes.
Hey practice makes perfect, follow some tutorials :P.
Also EvilJoker, your sig pic scares me :(

For civilians, you could just use unarmed crew bipeds from The Pillar of Autumn (a10). Also, if people do help you, be sure to give them credit.

You don't want the entire modding community world-wide after you do you?
You could rip some stuff, though be sure to give credit and/or ask first. I know of some good hoverbike tags, and the civilian can just be a slightly reskinned crewman, as someone said earlier...
i guess i`ll try the a10 crew members with modifications for the civilians, and if u can send me that hoverbike tag that would be great, doompig
BTW, what would be a good tut for tool? im having trouble compiling the level for saipen :S
Ha, you need help with TOOL?
"Wolf Grave"It's just typing in commands, anyone can do THAT.
If you really need help, get Tool++, because it kind of lists out all the commands and pre-does it for you, so you don't need to figure out what to type in, if that's what you're having trouble with.
No, do NOT use Tool++. That thing has terrible error handling.
Familiarising yourself with command line apps is useful if you ever intend to do more advanced things.
Do you really expect him to get difficult errors with a basic map like this? Though I guess you're right about him needing to learn how to Tool himself... 1) Run CMD 2) ???? 3) PROFIT! Lawl Jk, the real way is just to place CMD into your Halo CE folder, then type in: tool build-cache-file levels\
