any ideas on how to mod this (specifically explodes shrapnel)?
I think it's possible... to get the best effect i would do it all in CE editing kit then convert to the PC... If failing that, make a new model of the spike nade in gmax or 3ds then rebuild a map with that model, then use it as the plasma nade and fiddle with effects and shaders. I say use the plasma nade to replace cuz of how the spike nade sticks.
Definetly possible, complete with WORKING shrapnel(it will actually hurt you if you get hit). CE would be the best choice. Model, skin, and tag the whole thing. I'm not entirely sure how, but make the explosion damage effect send out more projectiles, these being fully modeled mini-spikes. It would be similar to that of a Flood gun, the rocket launcher that, after each explosion, spawns more projectiles, until it eventually spawns Flood biped.
No idea what that flood gun is... lol Osiris, this may sound like a lot of work, but I think you would be proud of urself if u made it.
Much easier way here. CMT. Download. Convert. Rip. :P Don't do it, though.
Convert? With Harbinger? Fail.

Also CE is your best shot, its free.
Technically, CE isn't free, since you need retail Halo for it. But that's just me. Hey, maybe after I buy a tablet I could put any leftover money to Halo.... hmm... Anyway, that sounds like something CE should be able to do. From what I know, CE is not only 100% legal (Developed by Bungie to begin with), it's basicly the ultimate Halo modders tool.
I've just seen halo at $20.00 now :P...

How is that even true? if it's developed BY Bungie, the makers of the game. Plus we are talking about the editing kit which is 100% free and lets not get into technicalities, even though custom edition is 100% free to download, yes you do needa retail version of halo 1 to install and play, but 100% free to DL yes. Wow alot of "100%'s" in that post...
