I didn't make it!
ok, now normally i can figure out what to do in similar situations such as this one, but ive had this one before and i dont know what to do. some games use automatic installers for their patches, and halo does in this case.. well it tells me that i need to be a user with admistrator capabilities... uhh, I AM the administrator.
so i avoided this problem and downloaded the patch seperately, what now? the patch cannot find the location of the Halo root directory, i guess because its on my external HD. shouldnt the patch be checking the registry key to find the location, i wouldve figured that MS would have implemented this instead of having the lame way of doing it, directing it to a defaul location (C:Program Files\MS GAMES\Halo, etc.)
well uhh, i hope you ppl can help. i need online play badly
Try putting the patching exe IN the root folder
:withstupid: don't think that will work. If it's an Update, open your Halo Folder and click Update or something like that. It will do it for you.

I had to do that for the patch I downloaded. :nodding:
My idea will work too...
Yes it will :nodding: I had to do that once too cause I didn't realise it :sillyme:
I ask why no one here calls the companies for help?!
Becasuse I called one time and they pissed me off.
