I have Halo: Combat Evlolved for PC, and almost every time there's a cutscene, the game plays the audio, but the screen stays snagged on the first frame of the scene. It doesn't do anything! Not only that, but when the cutscene is over, I can still hear audio, but the screen is still stuck. Basically, it's like playing the game and being blind.
Anyone got any solutions or ideas? Much thanks in advance!

Post the specs of your PC please. Include: RAM, Processor speed and graphics card. Things to try at the moment (all I can think of): - Re-installing Halo - Updating Halo - Installing Halo CE (free) and trying with the CMT campaign to see if the same occurs (See below): Halo CE, Halo 2 Downloads, Halo 2 Utilities CMT UI, Halo 2 Downloads, Halo 2 Total Conversions CMT POA, Halo 2 Downloads, Halo 2 Total Conversions Other questions: What happens if you minimise and re-open the Halo Window? Does Task manager recognise Halo as a responding program? Does anything of a similar type happen with any other games?
The only other game this has happened to me on is Max Payne, which I've not had near as much trouble. I would like to say that I managed to beat Halo with minimal difficulties after so long. Eventually, the freezing became less frequent, so I don't know what the problem was. I installed a few patches, re-installed Halo, and tinkered around with it for a while, and I guess it finally got tired of messing with me LOL! Thanks for all your help and assistance!
