Well, I'll just need some help on a few Halo CE mapping issues. I already know how to do basic mapping, but heres 2 issues that i cant figure out: Issues- Plasma Pistol sound tags Custom UI creation First Issue-the plasma pistol sounds. Can someone tell me the specific sounds u need to modify to change the plasma pistol charging and charged fire sounds? Simply tell me the name of the sound tag(s) to change that sound Second Issue-Custom UI creation I have already created a UI for the tutorial map, following a tutorial i found somewhere. I got the UI in game, but when i load up halo ce, i can see the background with the moving around the map i made it in, but there isnt a menu, or mouse cursor. The camera moves around the map the way i wanted it to, but theres nothing that says "multiplayer" or "profiles" Help?

I can help you with the UI. You need a complete UI tagset. Use the HEK+ to rip all tags from the original UI. Then you'll get all the widgets and the cursor.

I dropped that name some time ago; please don't tell me it stuck.... Also, as a recommendation, try creating a custom logo and buttons. You can really customise it, and make great looking UIs.

Sorry to be the one to tell you this dude. It stuck. For almost my whole time on Filefront, you have been known to me as "CartoBot". But I'll keep in mind that your name is "Cartografer" now... And thanks dude, it worked. Click HERE to download the UI, if you really want to... It sucks. How do I make custom buttons? on an unrelated note, i've finished a sidewinder varient ive been working on for about a day now. its pretty fun, mainly for vehicular combat. But being a varient, and because i cant export models, all the custom weapons/vehicles in it are downloaded from halomaps, or ripped from extinction. ill need like one more person to help me test it, cuz some of the vehicles seem invincible, and i just want to see if its fun in any way, or if any weapon/vehicle is overpowered. check out my other thread if ur willing to help. Again, not much help is needed, just a tester or 2 just to see how gameplay goes.

That UI isn't half bad for a first try. Fairly decent camera track, I'd say 7/10 as far as UIs go. Custom buttons are created from TIF image files, and I'll get a link to a tutorial soon. And I'll check out that thread. Meh, I can live with CartoBot. And ur, your "whole time"? You've been here for what, a week and a bit?

Yeah, about the "whole time" thing... I've been on Filefront forums for a long time, just I didn't have an account. I've kept tract of the most popular threads, which you happened to always be in. And people kept calling you CartoBot. Plus, when I met Cafeteroman on Halo CE(stroke of luck, he just happened to be in a game I joined), he referred to you as CartoBot, so yeah. My UI isn't really that bad? I thot it sucked, except for that one part where I did a barrel roll with the camera inside the base. That was cool.

You seem to have a knack for camera tracks. If you want to work with some more stuff, I can send you some BSPs.

Thanks, that would be highly appreciated. But can you send me pre-made .scenario files for me to put camera tracks in, instead of BSP which i'll have to screw with myself?
