I have a new comp (my 1st). It's a duel core partition mac (it has OSX and windows), my prob is: I hav'nt played halo in about a week, I was using windows to download antivirus and america's army (it pwns!).Anyway, I tried 2 play halo and after the title screen (be4 the company names) I get a blue screen then a message that 'THE APPLICATION HALO QUIT UNEXPECTEDLY'. I've tried it about 20+ times and reinstalled once (the original is still there though, I will probably try deleteing it soon), but I have a feeling that wont work either. CAN U PLEASE HELP ME ?!?!?!

You say you have another copy of Halo installed on that machine? I suggest you completely remove that and all other copies of Halo, anything to do with the game at all and reinstall from scratch.

no go, jesus. I'm 95% sure I deleted all halo files (I used spotlight to....well, spot them.) I sent a report when I was prompted but they said it wa only to help sevice and they would'nt answer, so that was useless.:'(

D'oh, how'd I forget to ask this one?

Did you patch Halo to the current 1.07 version before playing?

well, it says that the latest update for mac halo is 1.3, so I think the versions use different numbers. I have downloaded and installed an update before, but just in case I deleted the file or somthing (patchs stay in files after installation, right?:feedback: ), I re-downloaded it. But something happened. I got the stuffit compressed file, but when I tried to expaned it, it said "error, the archive may be damaged", is the archive part of my comp, or the file? (nOOb question, huh!)

I don't know if this is related, but I recently went to machinima.com (wierd stuff, but pretty entertaining at times) and my quicktime is messed up! There's no sound in video! (I checked every option panel I could think of) I tried software update, and now it won't play at all! (there's only a question mark and the quicktime icon) Windows side works fine, so I'm using internet explorer to watch. This happens at other sites to (like newgrounds) but it's fine if I download the file onto the desktop. (again, I don't know if there's cooralation...... but it is very annoying, just like the halo problem:lol: )
