I just bought Halo and installed it. When I start up Halo I get an error message that looks like this: haloerrordt5.png I ran DXDIAG and the 3D Acceleration is enabled. I can't find anything on the net that will solve this problem. Does anyone know what the solution is to this problem? (sorry if you can't read the error) -LastJedi

I have Direct X 9.0. My graphics card is ATI Radeon 9600 I had this same problem with the trial version of Halo. I downloaded strings.dll from Halo.com and replaced the one that was with the trial. The trial worked perfectly. I can't find that for the full version. Can someone please help? -LastJedi

ATI Radeon 9600 with 256 MB of Memory

loadTOCNode(3, 'moreinformation');Under certain circumstances after the Intro Movies, you may see a black or blank screen instead of the menu. We suggest that you update to the latest drivers. If this does not resolve the issue you may have to adjust the AGP Aperture size in your computer BIOS. An AGP aperture of 128 MB has been reported as addressing this issue. For information about how to adjust the AGP aperture size, contact the manufacturer of your computer or your motherboard.

This is from the microsoft support page for halo pc, maybe this is why it won't work.
