i hav downloaded the patches for Halo and Halo CE, and my computer will not let me install them, because it says u must be logged in as a Computer Admin, which i am, and it still doesent let me install it, i can install patches for all my other games with no problems, its only halo that wont let me install patches, does anyone know whats that about, coz i only bought the game a few days ago and i cant even play online, and that is my main purpose of buying it!

Think you have to logged on as the computer administrator on your computer.

But are there any other admins on your PC? That you could jog on as? Try logging on as them, and seeing if that works when you try to install the patches.

Hmmm. I can't see how this would help, but try re-enstalling it, and then update. Out of intrest, are you updataing it through the updater, or downloading the intalling patch from the internet?

i hav reinstalled it and used the auto updater to patch it, and i still get the same message, and i dunno why, unless my computer has a virus or something, but besides that, i dunno what else to do

It won't be a virus. The only other thing I can suggest for the moment is creating a new profile as an admin on your PC and doing it through that. Sorry I can't be of any more use at the moment, but I will try to find a solution.
