my cousin asked me how he can fix the installation of his halo game. when he puts in his CD key, the following error shows up: "halo setup encountered a disk error while writing to the file C:\program files\a10.map. Make sure your hard disk is not full, and that the file is not in use." the thing is, the computer is new with about 50 gigs of space, and he hasnt done anything with the file because its not even installed yet. help him out please...

Try defragging the hard drive. It can take a while, but it's always worth it if you haven't done so in a while.

He should't need to, It's a new computer. Read next time!

BTW: That is not the right directory that Halo Maps need to be installed to.

C:\Program Files\Micorsoft Games\Halo\MAPS -_-or something like that.
