I didn't make it!
Oops! I might have originally posted this in the wrong forum. Sorry. I have an odd problem. I purchased & installed Halo in July 2004, (Upgraded to V1.06). The game runs flawlessly in single player mode. My problem is w/ Online play. I have no problem listing available servers, connecting or playing. My issue is that at random intervals within an online game the screen will go black & the message, "the game has closed" is displayed w/ an "OK" button to select. Sometimes this happens 5, 10, 15 ,30 minutes into a game.
Halo itself does not crash. As soon as I click "OK" I drop back to the screen where I can choose single or multiplayer, etc… I can choose multiplayer & get back into any game that’s listed. In the past, I have found the game I was playing & have confirmed w/ those still playing that the game has not closed.
This is extremely annoying! I have shutdown all non-essential programs & forwarded the ports Halo is using in my router without success.

It could be that there is a trojan on your computer. they can disconnect you from games. close windows, or do almost anything on your computer. Or it could be your internet connection fluctuating. (spelling)
