Hey all,

loaded the game on a pc at work and it won't run. keep getting : a problem occured initializing direct3d. hardware acceleration maybe disabled, please run dxdiag:

I have the most recent ver of dirx and video drivers. hardware acceleration is enabled according to dxdiag and has passed all the test. the machine is a piece of shit but should run the program. here are the specs: 994mhz pentium III, 256mb of ram, video card is onboard intel 82815 32mb. i looked on intels site and they say it may have something to do with dvmt. funny thing is halo tells me the machine info is the following: 1000mhz, 256mb, 8m 815 intell (0x1132). looks like it's saying i only have a 8mb card maybe due dvmt.

any help would be great!!!!

Thnx mad_bunee

Intel 82815?! That most likely is why Halo won't work on your comp, no matter how you upgrade it with the latest drivers etc(Sorry to say that)

Umm, post this at Gearbox forums. Maybe they can help you, but you have to register.
