Ok, i hve halo 4 xbox, but i want it for pc 2 go online, because no1 in my neighborhood likes the xbox version, but, my parents said i cant waste my money on a game i already had. So, would it b illegal if 1 of friends copied his halo PC game on 2 a disc, and then gave it 2 me? Thanx 4 ne and all help
I'm not quite sure. I know that copying games or CD's and selling them to people is illegal, and giving copies to other family members for free is legal, but I'm not quite sure about freinds. Someone else should reply... or you could just tell him to do it, and not let any cops catch you.:firedevil:
this is a very dodgy topic 2 b discussed on forums
i dont know laws on wht is legal & wht isnt but....
cd key r a real prob, i dont think u can play with the same cd key as any1 else online at the same time
best thing 2 do wud b 2 sell off ur xbox version on ebay and buy a new copy of the game (pc version) on ebay also, if ur very lucky u may even make some money
my friend doesnt go online 2 much, so could i go on, then l8er get off, then HIM b on?
One CD-key per user. You'll have to get your own key if you want to play online legally.
This is not a hard question really and it's not dodgy at all. It's entierly depending of what it says in the EULA of the game and i can say that for HALO you can't give copies of it to anyone legally, not even family members and certanly not friends. It's simple as that.
