Does anyone know how i can add music to the current Single Player maps in Half-Life 2? I thought it'll be kinda cool cause it'll add more kick ass feeling to the game.

its not possible to add to the current maps, but to add to your custom maps, add an ambient_generic and tick the flag in the options to 'Play everywhere'

Open the gcf where the sounds are located Make a list of the music files in it Make note of the folders in which they're located Recreate that folder structure in your "user\steamapps\half-life 2" folder Rename your mp3s so they have the same names as the original files Place them in the right folder Voila!

No. This just replaces the music. To add, you'd have to decompile the map.

No, at the moment, there's no way to decompile.
