i would like to know how to release beta's of it...if anyone knows please tell me!!
Its a very long and complicated process, the likes of which will turn even experienced game developers to early retirement: 1. Rename the mod folder "[modname] BETA 1" 2. send it to HL2files, or similar filehost
wait which folder the one in sourcemods or the one you make in the C:\??
No offence but if you cannot work that out you have no business making a mod. But jus' so you know its the one in source mods. The other folder is the source code.

Sadly, MM is right. Basic file management is a must when making any modifications to a game.

yes, the one in C:\MyMods is the sourcecode for the mod. The one in mymods is the mod.
kewl thx man....adn i have another question..do you think bullet time mod will work online?? cause that is just about my mod but with other stuff...adn do i have to put the run_mod right??!
huh do you guys think it will work?
no. because you would have to do it server side and activate it via a pickup which is somewhat difficult to code considering your experience.
