Hello, Im looking for a tutorial for 3d Studio dealing with the complete process for exporting a correctly working weapon in Source. Really all im looking for is a tutorial on envoloping the model and attaching the bones to the model correctly so it can be exported from 3ds. I already have the weapon done and if anyones interested ill post a screenshot.

Hello, The sad truth is there is no real 3ds max support. If you are like me and refuse to learn the inferior XSI, then its the end of the road. 3ds max/gmax would have been far far better and there would have been better mods as a result. valve shot themselves in the foot.
