I decided to figure out how to make it so you can see grass and other small details off in the distance in HL2 sp. I discovered that it depends on the console command cl_detaildist which defaults to 1200. I can set it to whatever I want in the console, but if I try to set it from a config, or go past a load point after setting it, it's back to the default. How do I set this to stay where I want it to be set at?
