I made a bumpmap for my skin, it works but now my colt shines way more than normal and I can't get it right. I used nVidia's photoshop plugin filter and set the scale to 6. My vmt file says: VertexLitGeneric { "$basetexture" "models\weapons\v_models\rif_m4a1\rif_m4a1" "$envmap" "env_cubemap" "$envmapmask" "models\weapons\v_models\rif_m4a1\rif_m4a1_ref" "$bumpmap" "models\weapons\v_models\rif_m4a1\rif_m4a1_normal" "$normalmapalphaenvmapmask" "1" }

hey I've got that problem also and I've fixed, you must start systeemherstal and every thing will be o.k. :)

Is your alpha channel all white?
