Opposing Source 2 Takes place during the Seven Hour War. You play as Crpl Adrian Shephard, fighting to win the Seven Hour War. You are accompied by fellow soldiers and your commanding officer, as you rush through the war wasted city streets of New York City.

Im sure you are all really happy about this and would like to help, So to do this mod where going to need Skinners, Modelers, Scripters, and Sounds Artists too. OS2 will require alot of scipts for Stryders, Gunships, Dropships and anything else we decide to add. OS2 will include drivable Tanks, ACP's ,helicopters, and Jets too. The main plot of OS2 is to take out the just telepoting in Citadel in New York, but you have to do this in Seven Hours real time!

The main goal of this mod is to revive Shephard and give the Seven Hour War actually playable.

Good idea (Although hundreds along with myself probably had this idea) but the whole 7 hour part is kinda dumb...although mods dont take long to play though.

So many people have kicked around the idea of Sheppard coming back in the seven hour war its funny. I would like to see a new character, instead of sheppard, I can't fathom why Gman would send Sheppard back to fight alone against the attacking Combine. And waste such a perfect operative in a war he knows Earth will lose. Nor can I fathom why Sheppard is so popular, I mean, Op Force was good, but isn't Sheppard just a bit bland? Either way, it's your desicion, I would like to see a 7 hour war mod anyway, BTW, unless you make your mod REALLY long, (which may be a little unrealistic, I just shortened my mod Firestorm from half the length of HL2, to 4 chapters!) 7 hours is WAY too easy, and you might as well not bother with the time limit, unless you really are prepared to make 7 hours of gameplay. Good luck, 7 hours of gameplay would be awesome if you could manage, I would help, but Im working on the afore-mentioned Firestorm project.

gordon in my oppinion is bland. and I loved shepard. he was so cool.

Well, let me list what I'm thinking reading all of these.

1) Shephard was a good character, as well as Freeman, but he wouldn't be put back into fight during that specific war.

2) I'm sure Valve is going to make Shephard return. It'd be silly not to. Leaving his story as it was would be bad. I would wait on making a mod about this. Wouldn't hurt to just have a "Seven Hour War" mod. (where you're some random soldier)

3) As for saying "Mod's are short", that's a bunch of crap. You could fit the game into a "7-hour war" (give or take a few, depending on the player)

Me and my friends are gathering a team to make a Seven Hour War mod as well. Don't forget to read Raising the Bar before you start this mod. There is a lot of stuff you won't know if you don't read that book. I just wanna make sure you got all the details. I'd love to see multiple Seven Hour War mods. So bottoms up!

oh, alright. I've seen that, simply didn't register the name. I associate "Raising The Bar" with phone companies not HL2, lol.
