The Resistance and Liberation Team (RNL), a Half-Life 2 modification, is looking for an additional player animator and an additional sound engineer. RNL is comprised of a very professional group of developers with a comprehensive design goal. Modeled around the 82nd and 101st PIR in 1944, our goal is to create a combat simulation and to develop a style of gameplay that is unique and takes players in a different direction from what is currently available.

Player Animators: Our player models are complete, skinned, and are rigged in XSI. We are looking for a player animator with knowledge of how to weightmap, rig and previous experience in character animation. Knowledge in WWII, Softimage|XSI, Alias/Autodesk Maya, period weaponry (1944-1945), and HL2 is a plus, but not required. As an animator for RnL, you will be required to post weekly work in progress, and complete tasks in a timely manner. Please also note that animators with familiarity with Maya will are also very useful to us.

All applicants must have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in animating character models, and a good understanding of human anatomy and how the body moves. You must be able to provide a resume complete with past work experience, examples of completed works (be they shorts, cycles, or of any other variety) as well as a short summary explaining your desire to work for us (we know, respect, and appreciate what you can do, it's why and how that we're interested in).

Sound Engineers: Brian Fieser, our current sound engineer, has been snapped up by a professional studio and cannot spare as much time on the mod as we would like so we are looking for someone to help him out.
