You may have heard of this HL2 mod (well, I think it's also stand-alone), but if you haven't, it's a mod that re-creates the MP content of the Nintendo 64 game Goldeneye.
I can tell you, it is as much fun as the original. I love it.
It's currently in Beta 3. You need Steam if you want to play it.

Whoa man, I downloaded this last year when it was still in 1.something beta, and it was pretty bad. It stayed on my hard drive for months, and the website was never updated, so I assumed it was dead. I might check it out again now. The mod's concept certainly did sound promising. If they can pull it off, I'll be very pleased. :D
I forgot about it myself until a VGCats post brought it back to my attention. Installed it and enjoyed it.
The Klobb still sucks ass by the way. I think they should improve some weapons (modify them from the originals). Maybe in future versions.

QFT. But yeah I'll have to check this mod out.
It's pretty true to the original. It's not obviously complete and I don't think all of the weapons are in there yet.
Also, the remote mine trick was integrated into this mod (throw and blow up mines w/o having to switch to detonator). It's a little harder to do correctly, though.

Interesting, might just try it, it certainly does bring back fond memories of Goldeneye 64.
How large is the file btw, anyone?

It seems like I'll have another mod to follow alongside Sven Co-op, and Hidden: Source!
I'll get the size.
Also, it seems that my thread was moved, but I agree that it belongs here.

I thought this mod was dead. It was one of the reasons I wanted to buy Orange Box (PC) but since I thought the mod had been cancelled, I saw no point in getting the game.
Anyone know if Oddjob's hat will be a usable weapon? :p
