I created a new map today, well, it started as a conversion of the BF1942 map El Alamein, but when BCV added water I kept it that way.. a nice island/coastal map... Anyway, I added spawn points and tested it... it ran fine, so I went ahead adding vegetation, vehicles, structures, etc. I tested it again and Battlefield Vietnam just crashed to the desktop with no error messages once the map loading was complete... I've unpacked the rfa and checked all the con files and they seem in order, I removed some of the vegetation in the hopes that it was just a memory problem or something (I'm running 640mb of ram), but still the desktop crash.. If anyone has time to check it out and see if they can figure the problem, I've put the rfa up for download here: http://funky3d.ttpdirect.net/gallery/Island_Assault.rfa Let me know if you have any luck with it... I'm out of ideas... Cheers..

My problem was caused by the FishingHut04 object (the one with stilts), it cuses the game to crash... don't ask me why... I just removed it from my map. There may be other objects that cause the same problem.. I've also known a lack of memory to cause crashes..
