hey there...be honest! is there anyone of you out there who hasn't experienced multiple crashes with his BFV? i swear this is the first game that i have that causes sooo much problems. it crashes soo often...it's hardly fun to play! even it is actually very good. by the way did anyone see some graphical shit that looks like big pixels where there should be shadows on walls, people or on the ground in BFV?? they definitive had released it without enough testing. that's the first game where i can tell this for sure. bug bug bug bug bug bug bug bug bug bug bug bug bug bug bug bug:type::type::smokin::fistpunch:

Alot of testing went into this game. Alot of people are happy with the little amount of bugs in this release. You seem to have a big bug that Ive never heard yet of anyone having. Maybe post your system specs and we can try to find a solution for you.

AMD 1800+ | Sapphire 9800PRO | 640MB DDR Ram | WinXP and it runs fine for me too, pretty smooth, nice graphics. but i don't like it in the middle of a game when it crashes. and this happens some times with BFV. or this thing with the pixels. i think these are the places where objects should have a lightmap or shadows. and there i see big pixels. or when i am in buildings and suddenly my view begins to stutter. i really like this game and it's quite fantastic...BUT...one can't deny that it's buggy.10_1_10%5B1%5D.gif just take a look around how many users in this forum have troubles.

Everytime someone has a crashing problem I always say the same thing...test your RAM. I had crashes for months before realizing it was defective RAM.

Ya I was going to say the samething as Spidey. Getting new RAM might also fix your "suttering". Have you updated to the newest ATI drivers? This will possibly fix your "pixel" problems.

Could it possibly be heat related? I had BFV lock down on me and it turns out that my video card was overheated. I will be the first to admit that my case does not cool very well. Guess I will have to put that Dremel tool to use after all. :D But once the card cooled off, the game was fine after that. It may not be the issue here. Others have given you some good pointers. I am just throwing out another possibility for you to consider. Hope that you get it resolved.

well, i just got brand new ram, so it couldn't be that. my 1942 recently started crashing too for some reason, just like nam. i then downloaded brand new sound drivers, and so far, neither has crashed yet. As for the pixel wierd crap, i had that too. Vietnam comes with Nvidia Drivers on the disc, but not the newest one. However, after installing these old drivers instead of the brand new one, the pixels actually went away. I dont know if this is Dice's screw up or Nvidia's, but it's definitely unnacceptable (especially since the new drivers i had came out exactly one day before Nam).

"well, i just got brand new ram, so it couldn't be that" Yes it COULD, Bongman! Check it anyway, HELL, check EVERYTHING(CPU, MoBo, RAM, Vidcard, soundcard(YEP! Have heard of changes to sound settings improving performance, and might help you, but I doubt it will). Also, have you edited your videodefault.con file to "AllowAllRefreshRates=1"? That has helped some people w/Radeons, give it a try....:uhm:

Two things: (1) you have a bottleneck with your video card and mobo. Having a slightly older CPU (and I'd suggest at least a gig of Ram to play this game nicely, though not completely necessary) combined with a fairly top of the line video card... well... you're not getting as much OOMPH from the vid card as someone with a newer mobo. (2) I'm only getting this from reports from other ATi users, but it sounds like BF:V doesn't really like vid cards with the Radeon chipset. At least not yet. Give it time, there will be better support if they're as good with customer relations as they were with BF1942.
