Yes, you should be able to see the cable. My god it's great to drop a boat on some unsuspecting n00b way inland...

It found it hard getting use to the heli's in BFV after playing DC i think the DC heli's were alot better, they also had them missiles which would fire directly where you put ya crosshair, that was so sweet:beer:

I agree with BeefFlaps completely. The DC Helos take skill; hell, BFV's helos are a cakewalk, even compared to EOD's ships. Acquiring the skills to fly used to mean something, god dammit!! lol

The helis in DC are very unforgiving, but that's what makes them fun to fly. I can fly them purty good. I've gotten to where I can actually pick people out of the water. :nodding: The helis in BF:V are just too easy to fly proficiently. I truely believe they should make them have a little more of a learning curve. I don't even bother getting in one anymore. I will hop in one to get somewhere, but I really don't bother waiting like the other goofs. I do appreciate the things that haven't changed tho. You're getting owned at a flag while 6-10 people are shooting each other waiting for the heli to spawn. LMAO :uhoh:

un4givn72Well throwing my .02 cents in, I like the characteristics of the helicopters in BFV better than in DC. These birds do behave like the ones that I have flown in other programs (Flight Simulations). I am used to the "stiffness" that I believe one person stated. I know that this is a Battlefield game and not a simulation but once you are used to flying whirly birds in a simulator, you will be able to control these without too much hassle. The ones on DC seem to be not as forgiving IMHO. Again this is my .02 cents.

Oh yea dude, thats totally correct. I have about 1000+ hours in Microsoft Flight Simulator 95,98,2000,2002, and 2004 :). It really helps, but is much harder to fly then BFV (more realistic physics etc.)

I think that people just think the helis in vietnam are easy to fly because people have been flying in DC for quite a while and people are just used to them. I know that this is the case for me because I can really pile up the kills in a huey gunship or a cobra (once on Khe San i was 55-5 :). I also like to pick up people with the transport huey and transport people to different spawn points but other people dont seem to be too hot on this. And I also find that not too many people want to jump in as gunner in the huey gunship but when people do the gunship becomes the all mighty god of the map, supporting troops, lifting tanks and boats! I love the helis in BF:V and hope that they never change.
