I was wondering if when someone impersonates a clan member (recruits people, kicks people, general mayhem), if that person is commiting any sort of crime. (ex. Identity theft?) (my clan is having trouble with a lamer impersonating our members, we wanna do something about it; and banning him isnt enough)

I'm not sure if you could get him convicted of anything but you could try banning his ip address.

Yeah all I want to know if there is a possibility that he could be convicted of a crime. Even though all he is doing is changing his player name to someone elses and claiming he is that person.

It isn't a crime. Since the name is not property of anyone (unless you copyright it, then you might be able to get him for copyright infringement, I guess), the most trouble he can get in is you banning him.

talk to a hacker and hack him good (or just ban him)
