I have the Radeon 8500 LE video card but it doesnt seem to be delivering the performance I was expecting. I cant play Battlefield on Medium or Even High settings! Is this not the right card for gaming, or is it something with my computer thats the problem? I have 1.5GHz and 768 mb Ram. So I would think my computer could deliver gaming wise. Im sadly dissapointed.Could anyone help me?!!!!
Yeah radeons have been having poor performance with BFV, I guess the best I can say if update your drivers, and hope they patch.
ATI cards play fine, I just can't set ALL the settings on HIGH. I have 9800 PRO.
The reason YOUR ATI card is giving you problems is because that 8500 LE is NOT DX9 card. it is 8.1. Not a very good card at all for todays gaming.
Grab a ATI 9700PRO or something good with DX9 support.
n e 1 know how it runs w/ a Nvidia GeForce MX/400?
damnnn beefflaps, u cant play on high with that card? I can play on high with mine ONLY IF I TURN OFF IN GAME MUSIC, it makes such a diff its amazing. Anyways check my sig to see what im running.
And matt (except), i know for a fact you dont have your drivers updated because you dont know how. Ill tell you sometime, and that card has got to go. Not much you can do with that thing incept a nice lag free game of solitare
you know you dont need your game seetigs on high all the time.
shinyroryyou know you dont need your game seetigs on high all the time.
agreed. But I just love eye candy dammit! When my FX-51 machine is built, everything is going to be HIGH ;)
what does that LE mean i have a radeon 8500 128 mb card but it dont say that.
Borussia Long_powhat does that LE mean i have a radeon 8500 128 mb card but it dont say that.
I think the LE is the high end version of that card.
Except: Did you download the right dx drivers? I think there are diff versions for your card. I am reading the 8500 LE supports dx9 but runs slower on dx9 games... not too sure have to do more reading. You have latest ATI Cat drivers installed with latest windows patch?
