I was messing around with HL2 SP and I noticed an interesting problem that kinda destroys the realism of the game. When you are looking down a long hallway, the far wall isn't there, it's just replaced by a black hole.
Here's some pictures so you understand what I'm talking about.
Any ideas on how to convince the game to render something that far away indoors?
The game should render anything up to 2048 units away. The hallway doesn't look nearly that long. Theres an option, in the map properties to increase the max view distance.
How do I get to the map properties.
Do you have an older video card? that happens when I play on a GeForce 400 MMX.
I have an X800XL oc'd to 432 core 549 mem.
By map properties I mean in Hammer, if its a custom map. If it does it everywhere, its not a game problem.
