When I TRY to play Gmod i have the following error: MountFilesSystem(241) failed: SteamMountFilesSystem(2376,241,0x158cfc54) failed with error 5 : No Steam Content Servers are available. Can some one help me.

Gmod requires that you have a pre-installed game that uses the Source Engine and that it is run at least once. Gmod isn't exactly a stand-alone game. I recommend Counter Strike: Source as it gives you access to both Half Life 2 and Counter Strike: Source content

Yes, you just need a game that uses Source

which GMOD version are you using. I have the same issue using GMOD 9.

Garry's Mod Version 9 requires both Half Life 2 AND Counter Strike: Source Wheras the legitimate version only need one of the 2
