 What the hell is happening to my game? It started out okay, until I got to Highway 17. Now when Gordon goes near a building, bridge, steep cliff, he will do an impossible jump up on top of it - often with no way down without dying. This is not a gameplay issue - it's a movement bug that I have no idea how to fix. Trouble is, I can't find anybody else suffering from it too. Can anybody help as this is making it unplayable? Thanks. AMD Athlon 2800XP Windows XP Service Pack 2 1.2 Gb RAM Powercolor Radeon X800 Pro with newest driver

Dude, his computer is fine! It's 10 times better than mine (AMD XP 3000+, gf4mx440, 512ddr) and i can still run the game at 40-60fps on high details.

I suggest you re-install HL2 or get the patch off Steam. That bug doesn't happen to me so I don't know what to do

Where you get that his PC is "kinda" bad I have no clue. Because my pc matches his exactly except for mine is a 3.0 instead of a 2.8. I can run HL2 with everything to the max no problem. His PC is the last thing thats wrong. I'd pry say that you'd be best with uninstalling HL2 and reinstalling it. I had a problem where my scenery would just dissapear for no reason while I was playing. I couldn't find a solution so I uninstalled and reinstalled it and it was fixed. So, I suggest you try that and if that doesn't work I have no clue lol.
