I have a ATI Radeon 9800 and I am running on 1024x768. When I tried to turn it up to 1152x864 it seemed to work fine until i realized sertian parts of the HUD (Sprint/Flashlight bar and half of the ammo bar) were on the middle of the screen. Anyone know how to fix this, or is my graphics card to old to run it on a higher pixel ratio???
No, I dont think its too old to run it, since I have seen PC's run it with that card before on high resolution. Are you sure you have the correct drivers though? And what's your desktop's resolution? You should never set a game higher than your desktop. I don't know why, but thats what I have been told. Also, is your monitor capable of running that high? Mine can only run up to 1024x768. Anything past that and it goes blank.
I have a feeling your right I'm pretty sure i have the right drivers so it might be something with my monitor... Thanks for the help:bows: ---CrapshootBob---
Well I wouldn't run out and buy a new one yet. Test with other games, or even your desktop to see if you can run them high. If you can, then it is not your monitor. Best bet is the desktop, because if it blanks out, you can just let it sit until the timer runs out, and it will reset.
