Hi, I am the Web-Master at Half Life 2 War Zone

http://hlwarzone.hl2files.com/

The site was down for about 2 hours earlier on today i had no idea why. I could not get onto the server by FTP. I just get cannot connect.

Then when i look a few hours later and i see PHP-Nuke giving me this message

There seems to be a problem with the MySQL server, sorry for the inconvenience.

But the database is there. With all tables in it

When i check the forums (Invision powered) and they are giving me the same thing.

Cannot connect to database hlwz_ivbd1

But the database is there. With all tables in it

So i check the databases throught CpanelX and there all there and fuctioning correctly. No changes. I then check the config.php file of Php-Nuke and there have not been changes to it. No passwords or usernames have been changed because i would not be able to log into the server or use CpanelX.

Wtf is going on =(

**Edit** Ive installed another tester version of invision throught CpanalX. And it says its install o.k So i go onto the link and i see this Error message.

mySQL query error: SELECT mod.mid as is_mod, m.id, m.name, m.mgroup, m.password, m.email, m.allow_post, m.view_sigs, m.view_avs, m.view_pop, m.view_img, m.auto_track, m.mod_posts, m.language, m.skin, m.new_msg, m.show_popup, m.msg_total, m.time_offset, m.posts, m.joined, m.last_post, m.last_visit, m.last_activity, m.dst_in_use, m.view_prefs, g.* FROM ibf_members m LEFT JOIN ibf_groups g ON (g.g_id=m.mgroup) LEFT JOIN ibf_moderators mod ON (mod.member_id=m.id OR mod.group_id=m.mgroup ) WHERE m.id='1'

mySQL error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) mySQL error code: 2002 Date: Thursday 31st of March 2005 10:05:09 AM

Please help, James Half Life 2 War Zone Web-Master

I don't think you'll get much help here. Better email the person who gave you the hosting information.

I would e-mail Azzkiker at hosting@filesnetwork.com and report the problems to them.
