ok i am trying to make parallax height maps for maps in gmod..like grass and metal train bins and tile and wat not well i got a tutorial from here http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Parallax and i fallow instructions but nothing changes ingame...please help
The parallax mapping feature is currently disabled in Source Engine shaders so you will not notice any results, but it is very easy to implement; hardly any coding experience is needed. Many mods have already implemented it. yes i made _height.vtf for each corrisponding vmt but i got one parallax working for the metal containers in gmod 9...but gmod 10 dosnt let you use metal containers :(
