When i try to install this map pack for TF in X: -> Program Files -> Valve -> Steam -> SteamApps -> -> Team Fortress 2 -> TF -> Maps. As so said in the read me after going into steamapps i dont have any other files can anybody help me by the way i do have the full orange box installed on my computer and TF is up today in steam thank you in advance

In the SteamApps folder, there should be a folder with your Steam nickname on it, for example mine is 'Azzr' and that is what is meant by . You then follow the folder structure after that.

If you have the Orange Box installed legally via Steam, you will definately have a Steam account name folder in the Steamapps..

ok i have look and there is no file dont ask me why because i dont know but one thing is strange i have dark messiah might and magic also on steam but if i start it from the disk i have saved games but if i start it from steam i dont what the hell is going on, is it possible i can make a file to put the map pack in?

Dark Messiah has 2 versions, one steam, one non-steam. Your steam folder could also be X: > Program Files > Steam > SteamApps > > Team Fortress 2 > TF > Maps

(So without 'Valve'.) Try out that one :)

ok thank you, firstly for you help so far, have found steam file as said above with Steam acc name in but still no files for tf2 in there just has files for HL2 and HL ep2, dark massiah,source sdk base and portal strange. P.S. have being downloading and installing mods for my computer now for about 5 years and this is the first time i have had a problem

Er.. strage.. Are you sure you have -at least once- played TF2 with that account? When you do, steam should make the folders.

lol i did some reinstalling lately and maybe just maybe i havent played it since and the files were wiped this could be the answer i will check it now
