I appologise if (as I suspect it is) this is in the wrong section. I'm a newbie.
If I can ask a few quick questions? What I wanted to know is,
One: what section do I normally post the second question into?
Two: what is up with "Filefront"? I have a paid account with them and its taking me over 7 hours, all day to download a single file with them? The service is extreamly slow. I have tried other files refered to on this site and they are even worse. I have broadband plus (4 megs a second) but this sites files are crawling along! Anyone know whats going on or how do I improve the speeds?
and Three: I ment to put in as my name "jazz_jeff" but a typing error left out one "z". can I put it back in to my name, if so, where and how? Any help would be gratefully recieved. Thanks. Sorry, I am new to all this. Jazz_jeff

and as awnser to your questions:
1: there isnt a specific area, or not that im aware of. the best would be mailing support, i guess. ( [email]email@example.com[/email] )
2: are you sure you're using the FastPass servers? they should be faster than the public ones, though they have been having some server trouble lately.
3: members arnt able to edit their names. perhaps, if the admins are in a good mood, they might add the last z for you.

The most likly forum to go to would be the network feedback forum: Feedback and Questions Read the stickies first!! These state that for FastPass and filefront.com issues etc. you can contact the support team at [EMAIL="firstname.lastname@example.org"]email@example.com[/EMAIL] .

If you question is regarding FastPass (Filefront.com) and not the network you must contact [EMAIL="firstname.lastname@example.org"]email@example.com[/EMAIL] if it's a problem on one of the network sites (Bf2files [http://battlefield2.filefront.com/] etc. for example) you can post in the above mentioned forum.
So looking at your problem you should contact [email]firstname.lastname@example.org[/email] . Be aware though that the servers had some problems recently and that FastPass doesn't need to be faster persé depending on your location from the server and other factors though most of the times it is. But for a more complete answer use the above email adress. I hope they can help you find any possible problems with might be there.

welcome Jeff, the servers are slow due to updates to make them faster.
