 Ok I have asked everyone at EA and nvidia and they cant come up with a straight answer to this question... how can I get around the startup waring that says my video card doesn`t support dx-8.1 when I know that it does as I upgraded to dx-9 and have all of the features turned on. as you guessed it is an mx-420 ge-force. Iknow that somewhere inthe registrey is a way to shut off that test at game launch.... let me know...P_A_V_E_L
Your hardware was made for an older version of DX, just because you have DX 9 installed doesnt mean your card supports it. Welcome to GF.
i would suggest getting a new card.....MOHPA can get choppy on my 9800XT sometimes.....and welcome to the forums...
Howdy... Do yerself a favor, and post this in da' Tech forum. ;)
De Geforce Mx420 ain't even minimum no more. Ya need a MX440 128mb, preferably a Ti or an FX.
I'm gettin' 'bout ready ta slip on outa here, so catcha later...
I would die without GF

Just because you have DX 9 it doesn't mean your video card supports it. Else you could have a TNT2 and DX 9 and you could run HL2 maxed out. Welcome to GF, and you can direct all of your MOHPA questions in the Medal of Honor Forum :nodding:
