Welcom Dedeboy!

njoy your stay here at GamingForums, though please be a little patient. You can't expect people to jump on your threads right away. Especially not forums such as this were we require people to post sincere welcomes and put effort in the whole thing. For more information see the sticky and the forum guidelines.

I hope you will still enjoy your stay though!

Yes, welcome new member to the glory and vision of the ever-powerful forums of gaming. While you are certainly recommended to write extensive and thought provoking posts, it may not always be necessary (but mostly it is). For example, many of the users who write replies in this welcome forum use it as an excuse for an easy ten second post, hoping to quickly and easily move a post out of the way and up their post count effectively. This is strongly discouraged and generally enforced. But my ability to judge the effectiveness of this method as you can guess is limited due to my limited abilities as a "common" posting member. But I digress. The only other immediate thing I think one should know before they dive into the realm of the forums is to take post counts, rep power, and name color and position is perspective. Many members post counts are extremely high for their amazing capacity to spam, that is to make uncontibuting and uneffective posts, in threads that are not to allow it. The sheer capacity of this spam is difficult to both identify and eliminate, which is why many members have such high post counts. Secondly is rep power. High level members, that is, red and green named members and a few others, have access to a feature called the 'Admin CP,' a deep source of their energy and often foolish sense of invicibility that allows them to both limit and halt the forces of the the society of members. This can come in the form of good or evil. Anyway, what I am trying to say is that they can increase their rep power to often unlogical levels, to a point where they can theoretically heavily "pwn" you with a single rep action. This would be an abuse of power, however. Don't be decieved, but don't be foolish either. These are the lessons of a successful poster.
