OK... So I'm still kinda new to the community and I keep wondering... Why are most servers on the internet using "Disable Force Powers"? I mean... isn't that a part of the game?! It's not "lame" to use grip to throw someone into the lava/cliff/etc... Cuz' Grip can be easily countered by using Push or Absorb. And Lightning ain't lame damnit! I remember joining a Power Duel server of some clan guys, who were teamed up and one was using Light side, the other - Dark. Well I easily fried the dark-sider with my lightning, cuz they had the Force Regeneration set to... very very fast :D . Of course, I was the one, who was flamed and not the one, who meddled with the default settings! Anyways - back to the message - FULL FORCE RULZ! Here comes another one(for the modding community) - why all the skins, after most of the servers are "Pure"?! Plus - if I want to be seen with a skin, that I've downloaded, how do I know, that everyone elase on the server has it?! Oh... and the Staff ain't a "Noobstick"... It's actually harder to master, than the single saber. But that's gonna find it's place in another thread. Bye 4 now.

I agree with you. You are totally correct, and it is very refreshing.

You have correctly identified two problems: many servers have force regeneration set ridiculously faster than default (i.e. >200x faster than default) and too many servers have Force disabled. One leads to another. By having ridiculously fast Force regeneration, it leads to spamming of Force powers like Lightning. So what do they do: instead of increasing Force regeneration time back to a more reasonable level, they just disable Force powers like Lightning instead! They remove much of the richness and complexity of the game, then complain about bored, so they spawn rancors for amusement instead.

There are still servers out there with full Force powers and reasonable Force regeneration time. I host one, but there are others. Just look for servers without the Force disabled symbol in the server browser.

ValserpHere comes another one(for the modding community) - why all the skins, after most of the servers are "Pure"?! Plus - if I want to be seen with a skin, that I've downloaded, how do I know, that everyone elase on the server has it?!

You make another good point. Running a "pure" server really gives very little protection from hackers and none from scripters. It does keep people from using custom skins, unless that identical skin file is on the server. That's why I recommend running a server "unpure" and again, my CTF server is not only Full Force, it is also unpure, so all skin files can be used.

There is no way for you to know if another player has your skin file unless you ask them (unless they are using the same skin themselves, in which case you will see it because you have the same file).

[QUOTE=Valserp]Oh... and the Staff ain't a "Noobstick"... It's actually harder to master, than the single saber. But that's gonna find it's place in another thread. Bye 4 now.

Once again I must agree with you. The only reason they whine about your choice of saber is because you beat them.

Your head is on straight. Don't let snobs brainwash you to their way of thinking.
